  1. Can you make one like this but instead have him driving a gold '64 Impala? My Uncle Roscoe's birthday is coming up and he would love a picture like this! Of course the brother driving it would have to be of color and instead of saying Harley Davidson it would have to say Big Poppa. Can you do that?

  2. Hi Rondell,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I had no idea people could leave comments on my blog. I could do that painting for you assuming there was still enough time. When is his birthday? The cost would be quite a bit higher than the print but you would get a real oil painting. I could make you a 16" x 20" "Big Poppa" oil painting for $300. If you're interested in talking more please email me directly at john@johnperlock.com. Thanks again for writing and all the best!

  3. What a beautiful masterpiece! I’m sure the people in Harley Davidson would appreciate your work. In fact, it looks like a vintage ad for Harley Davidson. The colors are so alive and vibrant. Anyone would love to hang this piece on their wall. [Erik Lucien]

  4. @Erik: Well, it’s not just the people working at Harley Davidson. For sure, Harley fans would absolutely be glad to see this. I think, there are a lot of aficionados out there who wants to have their own prints!

  5. That’s for sure, Clare! Well, I wouldn’t be surprised if my grandpa gets a copy of that to match his Harley Davidson collection. In fact, you can think of his garage as a mini HD museum. Haha! Pins, belt buckles, necklaces, lighters and jackets… he has all of those! :D
